Coventry City Council works with Partner organisations within Coventry as part of the ESF funded projects to make sure you get the correct services. We will use your personal information to:

  • Let you know about other services available to you
  • Give you the support you need
  • Give you the best advice about services in your local area
  • Help Partners understand how they can improve services they give you
  • Offer you help and support by talking about your needs, and how Partners can help.
  • Complete statistical and research reports.

We may need to share your personal information with:

  • Our partners so that they can offer you the support you need
  • Your future employer, education or training provider to collect information needed for find out about your progress on the programme
  • Appropriate agencies and government departments in order to protect public funds and for the prevention and detection of fraud

Your information will be stored securely for up to 10 years after the end of the programme.

You may be contacted up to 6 months after the end of the programme you are participating in by the ESF Evaluation Team to discuss your involvement in the programme.

We require the following evidence for you to join our course for FREE.

Please drop in to the FabLab with one document from each section below at your earliest convenience, we are open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Alternatively, you can bring your evidence to your first appointment.


  • A passport showing the holder is a British citizen
  • EU/EEA or Switzerland Passport or national identity card
  • A full birth or adoption certificate issued in the UK
  • A birth or adoption certificate or a certificate of registration or naturalisation as a British citizen
  • A current passport OR A current Biometric Immigration Document (Biometric Residence Permit) that shows that the holder is allowed to stay indefinitely in the UK, has the right of abode in the UK and has recourse to public funds


  • Driving licence
  • Utility letter^
  • Government letter
  • Bank statement^
    ^Dated within 3 months


  • Proof of JSA or UC with no deductions for employment
  • ESA / PIP / IS Benefit letter or tax credit award letter showing 0 hours working
  • Letter from another service confirming that you are not currently employed

If you are not claiming any benefits or accessing any services, don’t worry, this will not stop your entitlement to accessing the programme.
